

Weekly Review 1-6-15
This past week has been outstanding on the rivers with a ton of steelhead a few brown trout being caught. Depending on the day, the fish were sitting on the edge of the water one day but then in current the next. I ran a half day trip today and my client and his son got into a real nice female brown and two steelhead. Action packed weekend
This weekend plus Monday was nothing short of outstanding. There were a bunch of fish caught and a bunch of first timers that tied into brown trout and steelhead. The first Saturday morning was my buddies kid who did a great job fighting a 5lb brown by himself. Later that day I hooked into a very nice steelhead and let my coworkers husband have fun fighting it on the centerpin. High water brown trout
This morning I met up with Todd and Aaron from Trail Creek Guide Service out of Indiana in hopes of getting them into a few Wisconsin browns. This trip was a trade from this summer when I went down by them for Skamina Steelhead fishing. Except for when I woke up my biggest fears came true. NOAA was calling for up to a half inch of rain over night and at the rate my rivers were dropping I was really hoping for no rain at all but guess what, we got over a half inch causing all


Knock out day on the river!
I met up with a good friend on the river today after a sub par day in the harbor yesterday. It didn't take long before I hooked up with the first brown trout of the morning with the 12'9 Raven Matrix. Shortly after I landed mine, Josh tied into another nice female brown.
