Fall salmon update

Good news is there are still plenty of chinook salmon in the rivers. The Root is extremely low but has chins, coho's and browns. Bad news is there is a high level of foot traffic. The Milwaukee River still has plenty of chins, coho's and there have been a handful of steel and browns caught. I was on the river yesterday with a good friend and his two son's. Even though the fish were very finicky we still managed three chinooks with the largest being 22lbs. White was the key color of the day. I still have plenty of days open for the rest of October and November but there is a high level of interest and days are starting to fill fast.
