Fall River Chinooks Right Around the Corner

I stopped by one of my local rivers yesterday evening to take a look around and to my surprise there were a few chinooks jumping in the lower sections. It's only a matter of time before things erupt!
I was at the South Pier in Racine Thursday the 10th and saw 15-20 fish caught, mainly chinooks that were still silver. I did notice something as well, there were no fish jumping. This means one thing, the run is a few weeks out. With the rain we've been getting has slightly raised the river which will pull in a few pre spawn chinooks which makes a prime time to float spawn under bobbers.
