The last weekend of April I get out both days for another white bass to bluegill combo. Saturday I took a good friend out to the rock river for her first time targeting white bass. With the water dropping close to 10 degrees from the week before, it really shut them down. We ended up with a handful of small saugers and Brittany had a lot of fun fighting a northern pike and two white bass on my 13 Fishing Muse while pulling minnows off the bottom. Sunday I took a co workers husband out for bluegills and after moving around quite a bit with one here one there, we tucked back in a shallow bay on a local lake and put the hurting on the bluegills. Tony even stuck a real nice pre spawn crappie.
